The Social Committee put on another successful event on Saturday, Oct. 24th it was called Fall Fun Fright Fest and was held on the north end of White Rock Drive.

There were over 200 people in attendance, pizza from CiCi’s in The Colony, Donuts from Donut Palace in Flower Mound (owned by Meridian residents) and the hayride was a huge success.

There were over 80 entries for the guess how many candy corn contest with the lowest being 10 and the highest 540, but the winner, Meagan Forrey guessed it right on the money—326! She got to take the container and the candy home!

The Colony High School Cheerleaders were asked to volunteer to help with the event for a monetary donation from the Social Committee. Thank you to the six who spent their Saturday evening helping us out!

Thanks so much to the guys who took their football watching Sunday time to clear the woods for a walk that was unable to happen due to more rain! It was greatly appreciated and ready for next year now!
