The Bylaws of Meridian HOA dictate that annual meetings are required to be held at the office of the HOA or a convenient location to its members.  In addition to this, the Board of Directors holds monthly meetings to ensure issues are addressed in a timely manner.  As part of maintaining transparency between the Board of Directors and the Members, minutes are recorded for each meeting and posted to this web site.  Details of private discussions between the Board and a Member or about HOA financials or possible litigation are kept “off the record.”  Notice of monthly meetings is provided via email and this web site, as allowed by Texas law.  In addition to electronic means, notice of annual meetings is provided via regular mail.  All meetings are open to all members of the HOA and the Board welcomes any member who would like to attend.

The Homeowner Forum

The 2010-2011 Board of Directors established the Homeowner Forum, which is a 15-18 minute portion before the Board meetings for the homeowners to make suggestions for the betterment of the community.  We love to hear your ideas!  Please understand this is not the forum for appeals or questions, but rather a forum to give suggestions to the Board and committees.  In order to facilitate this, the Board has developed guidelines to provide structure to the forums and meetings.
