On Sunday, May 14th, 2011, Erynn & Pat Keenen hosted a Beer Tasting.  Six different beers were tasted by the 20+ attendees.  Rolling Rock was a big hit.  There was also a blind taste test of Bud Light, Miller Lite, and Coors Light.  Only a few were able to guess them correctly.

On Saturday, February 19, 2011, Lorynn & Greg hosted a Port & Dessert Wine Tasting.  They provided the drinks and snacks with a small donation from the 16 attendees.

The overall favorite was:
California Orange Muscat Wine – $9.99 – With the sweet, heady perfume of orange blossom and stone fruit, it’s hard to understand why this is such an obscure variety.  There are less than 200 acres of Orange Muscat throughout California.  The French call it La Fleur d’Orange – the orange blossom – it’s also grown in Italy and Australia and for obvious reasons – who can resist such a gorgeous fragrance and soft, fruity flavors?  Pairs well with Fresh Fruit.

On Saturday, August 14, 2010, Justin & Ann (thanks again) who moved here from Kentucky hosted a Bourbon Tasting!

They provided the drinks and snacks, each with a bourbon theme or twist, with a small donation from each attendee.  Those who did not care for bourbon brought along their own beverage of choice, but still socialized and had a wonderful time!  Over 20 people in attendance.
